Private Jets

Commercial and private pilots alike agree that the King Salmon airport (AKN) is easily accessible. With control tower, all weather precision instrument approach, full category 1 capabilities (CAT I), lack of terrain and 9,000 foot runway, pilots say that AKN is the most reliable airport around.  In fact, if a pilot cannot land elsewhere due to weather or other factors, they will use AKN as "primary alternate" for the region of Southwest Alaska.

The King Salmon airport can accommodate jet driven aircraft of any size. Free, secure aircraft parking, FOB services and shuttle transportation from

wing-side to river-side, makes travel to this destination convenient for

corporate or conference attendees.
