King Salmon Lodge operates three De Havilland model DHC-2 "Beaver" float
planes. All of the aircraft have been completely updated including new paint
and interiors. The Beaver was designed by the Dehavilland Aircraft Company of
Canada to satisfy rugged Canadian Operations and it has proven itself in the
Alaska Bush. It is the most famous bush aircraft ever built and was widely
adopted by both private enterprise and the military. Having withstood the test
of time, the De Havilland Beaver remains the top choice of bush pilots
everywhere.
Our fleet of aircraft is maintained far and above standards, with the latest
GPS and radio equipment. Our experienced pilots provide a safe and enjoyable
float plane ride in the Alaska wilderness.
