  Alaska Fishing Lodge Fishing Trips

Our superb location enables us to fish the entire Bristol Bay Watershed, including the Wild Trout Management Area around Lake Iliamna and the prolific waters of Katmai National Park by float plane. Fishing our home water, the world famous Naknek River by jet boat is a daily option.

The Bristol Bay Region is home to the largest Sockeye (RED) Salmon runs in the world, as well as Kings, Silvers, Pinks, and Chum. Acre for acre, nothing in Alaska compares to the majestic beauty of Katmai! A short ten minute flight from the lodge takes you into a land that has been virtually untouched since its creation. King Salmon Lodge is a short scenic 20 minute flight to Brooks Falls in Katmai National Park. Watch as huge coastal Alaskan Coastal Brown Bears stand atop the falls and grab jumping Salmon right out of the air.

With the use of our Dehavilland Beavers and experienced Alaska bush pilots we can fly our guests to many locations and put them where the fish are. After a delicious breakfast buffet, there is plenty of time to suit up and enjoy a full day of fishing.

All our guides are instructors and experts in fly and spin cast fishing catering to the complete novice or experienced angler. June and July are great months for fishing King Salmon (Chinook) and Red Salmon (Sockeye). August and September offer spectacular Silver (Coho) fishing.
